Xiangyunsha: A Thousand-Year Tradition

Xiangyunsha is a traditional silk fabric with a long history in Shunde, Guangdong Province, China.
It is created using a rare dyeing technique recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, and is known as the "black gold of silk."

Xiangyunsha is made from 100% pure silk (mulberry silk). It is carefully crafted using a traditional method that involves repeatedly dyeing the silk with a plant-derived dye solution from `dioscorea cirrhosa` (shoryo), then applying natural river mud and sun-drying it multiple times.

A Unique Texture in the World

Because it is created by skilled artisans and the forces of nature—sun, wind, water, and earth—no two pieces of fabric will ever have the exact same pattern or color.

It features an elegant luster, profound colors, and a combination of suppleness and just the right amount of crispness. With a smooth texture that resists stuffiness, it's comfortable to wear even in hot weather.

• Reshape it flat and air dry naturally in a well-ventilated shade.

• When storing, avoid humidity and store dark and light colors separately.
