Xiangyunsha: A Thousand Years of Tradition

Xiangyunsha is a traditional silk fabric that has been handed down in Shunde, Guangdong Province, China, since ancient times.
It is produced using a rare dyeing technique certified as a national intangible cultural heritage and is known as the "black gold of silk."

Xiangyunsha uses 100% silk (mulberry silk). It is carefully finished using traditional methods, repeatedly dyed with plant-derived Dioscorea cirrhosa dye and then coated with natural river mud and sun-dried.

A Unique Texture in the World

Because it is created through the handiwork of artisans and the power of nature—the sun, wind, water, and earth—no two fabrics have the same pattern or color.

It combines an elegant luster with deep colors, suppleness with just the right amount of crispness, and a smooth texture that is breathable, making it comfortable to wear even in hot weather.

One of Xiangyunsha's unique charms is that its color gradually changes with wear and washing, beautifully maturing over time.

Care Instructions

Xiangyunsha is a delicate material with natural dyes. To enjoy its beautiful texture for a long time, we recommend the following care:

• Avoid using washing machines and dryers.
• Hand wash gently with a neutral detergent in cold water below 30℃.
• Do not rub or wring vigorously.
• Reshape flat and air dry in a well-ventilated shade.
• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading.
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, deodorizing sprays, and insect repellents.
• When storing, avoid humidity and separate dark and light colors.
